Patel Lies: Neurologist or Technologist
During the traffic stop at 1AM Sunday August 4, 2019, Vikas Patel allegedly claimed that he is a Neurologist at Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair and was in a hurry to get to work.
But, according to media reports, Vikas Patel’s claim about Neurologist was disputed by Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ.
The hospital in a statement said Vikas Patel was never an employee.
And, Vikas Patel admitted that he actually works as a technologist and not a neurologist and lied about the job to avoid tickets in a phone interview with media outlets.
Patel was arrested August 4, 2019 and later released on his own recognizance pending a court hearing.
Vikas Patel must be presumed innocent until and unless a court finds him guilty.
