In what must come as no surprise to New Jersey desis, Air India has made it to FlightStats‘ list of Worst Airlines in 2016 for its poor on-time record.
For 2016, Air India was the third worst airline for its pathetic on-time performance.
Going by FlightStats’ figures, the odds of a delay on a long-haul Air India flight is as high as 38.71%.
Desi friends who occasionally travel on Air India have nothing but curses for the crappy airline for its awful service and poor on-time performance. In recent months, some of my Indian friends have shifted their loyalties and started flying to Mumbai on Air China (via Beijing).
The odds of a delay on Air China is lower than on Air India by 6%.
